Our profession is governed by the following regulations: Wirtschaftsprüferordnung (WPO), Berufssatzung der Wirtschaftsprüfer / vereidigten Buchprüfer (BS WP / vBP), Satzung für Qualitätskontrolle and Steuerberatungsgesetz (StBerG). Professional liability
The insurance cover prescribed by Sec. 54 WPO has been taken out from HDI Versicherung AG, HDI-Platz 1, 30659 Hanover for the territories of Europe, Turkey, former Soviet Union Republics, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, and worldwide subject to German law.

Interdisciplinary activity
Gehrke Econ Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft cooperates with Gehrke Econ Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (Imkerstr. 5 ° 30916 Isernhagen) on a permanent basis.

Out-of-court dispute resolution
Information required by the Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (“Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz”): there is no obligation nor any intention to participate in a dispute resolution proceeding before a consumer conciliation body. A dispute between auditors and clients can be resolved by out-of-court arbitration upon application to the Chamber of Public Accountants in keeping with Sec. 57 (2) No. 3 WPO.

Our profession is governed by the following regulations: Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO), Berufsordnung der Rechtsanwälte (BORA), Fachanwaltsordnung (FAO), Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz (RVG) and the Charter of Core Principles of the European Legal Profession (CCBE). For international law the Code of Conduct for European Lawyers applies. Interdisciplinary activity
Gehrke Econ Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH cooperates with Gehrke Econ GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (Aegidientorplatz 2 b, 30159 Hannover) on a permanent basis.It is prohibited for lawyers to represent parties in the case of a conflict of interest under the terms of the professional regulations (Sec. 43a (4) BRAO). For this reason, any new clients are checked to see if there is a conflict of interest before accepting the engagement.

Out-of-court dispute resolution proceedings
Information required by the Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (“Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz”): there is no obligation nor any intention to participate in a dispute resolution proceeding before a consumer conciliation body.In the event of a dispute between lawyers and their clients, an application can be made to resolve the dispute out-of-court before the regional bar association, Rechtsanwaltskammer Celle, (in keeping with Sec. 73 (2) No. 3 in conjunction with Sec. 73 (5) BRAO) or before the court of arbitration for the legal profession, Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft (Secs. 191 et seq. BRAO) or the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer (www.brak.de; schlichtungsstelle@brak.de). The EU platform for resolving online disputes out-of court can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
